How the Government policy lead to conflict

The U.S. created a conflict with their policy of moving the Indians to build a railroad. This created a conflict because felt like they were being invaded and defied the treaty that was made before. They could have avoided this by sticking to the treaty and took a different route that wasn’t on the Native Americans land. I think that today’s government should make reparations for the treaties that were broken. They should give them money or land to make up for stealing the land from that era. They should do this because they went against their word and owe it to the Native Americans
