The article highlight the Bucs Women of Red event which is an open event to women to observe the Bucs training camp. The event increased attendance from 1,000 to 1,500 and they were able to participate in running recieving routes, kicking field goals as well as other training camp activities.
Comments: This article highlights the growing interest of NFL teams to include women in the league. The increase in attendance shows that women are interested so if teams provide the event then women will participate. This can be beneficial to other teams throughout the league as well as the NFL itself because they are aware of the growing interest women have in the sport.

The article talks about the recent HOF game and how coaches now have the ability to challenge pass interference calls. Thr call on the field was upheld despite being challenged.
Comments: This article shows the response the NFL has to the Saints vs Rams last minute non-call. This is an effective way of addressing the issue to make sure that the right call is made without affecting the flow of the game too much by restricting coaches challenges to before the two minute warning.

This article reports upon the lack of diversity within the head coaching positions and how despit having qualifications that may be comparable to other candidates and possibly exceeding other candidates they are not even getting interviews. Over the past two seasons only 2 of 15 of the head coaching positions were filled by people of color.
Comments This speaks upon the state of the NFL and how they are still not hiring minorities despite them being qualified for head coaching positions. This may also speak to hiring processes through all positions and their lack of diversity. In the future the league should look into improving diversity because this will help bring new and fresh ideas to the game of football.

This article features the NBA 2K league and the growth of the league. The growth is catching the eye of large companies such as AT&T, Dell, Facebook and recently Anhueser-Busch. The NBA 2K league tournament will feature league players as well as influencers in a pro-am setting
Comments: This important for the world of sports because this shows the influence that eSports is having on the industry and large companies are taking notice upon the oppurtunities that are becoming apparent to both the sport and sponsors. The world of sports is developing to become more digital and sports that are live action will have to look into utilizing a multitude of technologies to compete with emerging eSport leagues.

This study investigates the influence that sports organizing bodies have on sports mega-events and sports mega-event sponsors. The study showed that sport mega-event organizers had a direct influence on the mega-event influence. However, there is little correlation between organizing bodies and sports mega-event sponsors.
Comments: This study is important because, as large sporting mega-events continue to be conducted the organizing bodies must not only focus on the execution of the event but on the way that the organizing body is perceived because of the direct correlation of the event success and perception of the organizing bodies. This also is important to sponsors of mega-events because they are aware that there is little correlation with the governing bodies and their own images. Moving forward large companies can be reassured that their sponsorships of large events will not affect their companies image and ultimately their profit.
